It also comes with a File Explorer which allows you to view the files and your hard drive(s) and launch them too!

How To Setup VertiDesk PC Remote Control?

NOTE FOR ANTIVIRUS USERS
The PC Server app controls mouse and keyboard, which some antivirus software
may flag as suspicious. This is a false positive. Add the server exe to your
antivirus exclusions list. Full instructions are in the app under Settings > How to Set Up.

Once you have downloaded our Remote Control Server Application, follow the steps below:

1. Run the PC Remote Control Server Application.
2. If your computer cannot start the PC App, make sure Java environment is installed. You can download it from node.js or java.com
3. The application will be started in the terminal window or the system tray right click for various options. Terminal will show your ip address and connection status, keep it open to connect with mobile app.

On Client (Your Android Phone), Install the app from Google Play Store. Start the app and follow the steps below:

1.  In Menu Press Connections. (2026 update opens connection window by default).
2. Create a Connection either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth (old app). Your computer and mobile need to be on same Wifi Network for the connection to work.
3. Choose any name as you like.
4. Set password optional.
5. If you created a Wi-Fi Connection, You need to find your computer IP address. It will be located in the icon tray at the bottom right of the screen OR the Terminal window (in new version). Once you have it type it in. It should look something like this (192.168.x.x).
6. (Old app) If you created a Bluetooth Connection, Select the Bluetooth Address of your PC by scanning it. If after a scan you can’t find anything, manually pair your computer and your phone either from the PC Bluetooth panel or from your phone then re-open the app and scan again, your computer will be visible.
7. Save your Connection. Enjoy the new app.
8. (old version) Long press your newly created Connection in your mobile app and select use.
9. After that choose any feature & Use IT!

Old app will be depreciated and will not longer be supported from April 2026. Please update the mobile app and use new verison of the desktop app.
