1. Information We Collect
VertiDesk PC Remote collects no personal information. The app does not require account registration, does not ask for your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
2. How the App Works
The app communicates directly with the VertiDesk PC Server application installed on your Windows computer over your local Wi-Fi network (LAN). No data passes through our servers or any third-party servers. No internet connection is required or used for the remote control functionality.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores the following data locally on your phone only:
- IP addresses and names of saved PC connections (stored in app database)
- App settings such as mouse sensitivity preference
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
4. Advertising (Free Version Only)
The free version of VertiDesk PC Remote displays banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
The Plus (paid) version contains no advertising.
5. Permissions Used
- INTERNET — Required to communicate with the PC server over your local network
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE / ACCESS_WIFI_STATE — To detect network connectivity
- VIBRATE — For optional haptic feedback on button presses
No other permissions are requested.
6. Children’s Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted at the app’s page on our website. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updates.
